The logo distills the brand's ethos into a single, memorable form: a woman's silhouette nested within a luminous circle, balancing sophistication with warmth.
Refine Beauty needed a brand mark that could hold its own across social media, packaging, and print — something instantly recognisable, unmistakably feminine, and confidently premium. The client wanted to feel seen by her audience: women who value self-care, refinement, and a touch of modern energy. The mark had to feel timeless without being austere, and contemporary without chasing trends.
The design began with a study of the negative space relationship between a woman's profile and the circle — a classic symbol of completeness, beauty, and self-contained confidence. After exploring several silhouette compositions, the final mark emerged from a single flowing curve that defines the profile while leaving the surrounding circle to breathe.
The monochrome interior was a deliberate choice — black and white communicate sophistication and timelessness, hallmarks of premium beauty positioning. To inject vitality and signal a modern, digitally native brand, a pink-to-orange gradient was introduced on the outer ring. The gradient references the warmth of skin tones and the energy of sunset light, grounding the mark emotionally without overwhelming its quiet elegance.
Every curve was refined for balance, ensuring the silhouette and circle read clearly at any scale — from a 32px social avatar to large-format packaging.
